Modern Open Concept Kitchen

The use of the open concept kitchen has been on the rise in the past few decades. The kitchen is no longer an isolated room hidden away in ones home, but rather a social place where homeowners spend a significant amount of their time. Jase Frederick, ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) Illinois' director of communications, says that homeowners "are looking for spaces that maximize their ability to gather and relax with friends and family.” And where better to gather with ones family and friends than in one of the following homes designed with an open concept kitchen in mind.
